Confessional Standards
Redemption Church Denver is a member church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
Our Churches beliefs are described in our constitutional documents the
Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechism as well as the
PCA Book of Church Order.
Confessional
We are a confessional church, meaning we joyfully affirm and hold ourselves accountable to historic Protestant statements of faith, particularly the Westminster Confession of Faith together with its Larger and Shorter Catechisms. These documents serve as a clear, time-tested summary of what Scripture teaches on core doctrines such as the Trinity, salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, and the authority of the Bible. Being confessional protects us from doctrinal drift and gives our members and visitors confidence that we believe and teach what the church has believed for centuries.
Presbyterian
We are presbyterian in our church government, which means we are led by a plurality of biblically qualified elders (also called presbyters) who shepherd the local congregation and are themselves accountable to elders from other like-minded churches in a regional presbytery and broader assemblies. This form of government reflects our conviction that Jesus Christ is the only Head of the Church and that no single pastor or congregation should operate independently. Presbyterianism balances local church autonomy with loving mutual accountability, guarding against both authoritarianism and unchecked individualism.

WHAT IS SUNDAY LIKE?
What do we do?
We gather together every Sunday to celebrate the good news of the gospel by singing, teaching, and participating. We sing because the gospel is good news! So we celebrate together every Sunday in song. We teach because the Gospel is news, it is the story of all history from creation and fall, to redemption and our hope in Christ. We participate in this story each week by communal prayer, and sharing in communion.
What about kids?
Newborns up through First Grade check in at RCD Kids. Every week the kids encounter the depths of the gospel in ways that they are able to connect with and apply.
When should I arrive?
Our service starts at 9:30 am, and we recommend showing up around 9:15 am so you are able to Check-in the kids at RCD Kids, grab a cup of coffee in the foyer, and ask any questions you may have at the welcome table or with any of our welcome team wearing a RCD lanyard.
Where do I park?
We are located inside Berkeley Park Chapel at the corner of Tennyson St. and 46th Ave. Street parking is available around the church and across the street in front of Berkeley Lake Park.

RCD KIDS
RCD Kids Gathering
RCD Kids exists to come alongside parents as we disciple the youngest hearts in our church. On Sunday mornings, we offer classes for children from nursery age through first grade. In these classes, kids will hear Bible stories, learn and sing catechisms, memorize Scripture, and enjoy time with their friends. By second grade, our desire is that children feel ready and excited to join our main Sunday gathering. To help with this, each classroom gradually incorporates elements that reflect the rhythm of the larger service.
Family Worship
Children are a gift from God, and we take the call to steward them seriously. Each week children join their families at the end of the service to sing together, and there are a few family services throughout the year. Beyond Sunday mornings, RCD partners with families to provide them with resources to raise their children biblically, encourage & support them, and celebrate with them!
